Heather Jensvold

Heather has a decade of experience in hospitality, lifestyle and consumer product public relations. Her career in PR started with restaurants, grounded in a personal interest in the culinary world. She quickly grew into working with a diverse set of clients ranging from beverage and nightlife to hotel, sports and entertainment sectors. Prior to establishing Evado PR, Heather was vice president at a Seattle-based PR agency where she managed the restaurant division and helped expand the agency’s media relationships and client base.

Heather’s work has graced local and national print, online and broadcast outlets including: The Wall Street Journal, Bon Appétit, Sunset, Pacific Northwest Magazine and the broadcast waves of Food Network, Fine Living Network and KING 5 Evening Magazine. Heather has worked with locally based start-ups and corporate brands in developing tailored PR campaigns, strategic marketing plans and successful events that draw on her strong media and business relationships.

Her knowledge of the industry and ability to generate compelling media coverage and fruitful promotions has benefited such clients as Il Fornaio, McCormick & Schmick’s Seafood Restaurants, Oki Golf, The Seattle Times, Campagne, Seattle Restaurant Week, Lucky Strike Lanes, BASCO Kitchen Design Showroom, Sorrento Hotel and spirit companies Diageo and Remy Cointreau. Her extensive non-profit work includes benefit events for Susan G. Komen, Detlef Schrempf Foundation, Bellevue Boys & Girls Club, FareStart and Seattle Humane Society.

Heather holds degrees in Sociology and Communication from University of Washington (Go Dawgs!). While not cheering on the Seahawks or attempting to relive her sports days in basketball and golf, Heather enjoys cooking, dining out and anything food or drink related including fishing and searching out the best spots to picnic.
