    Bell + Whete European Kitchen + Lounge



    Start the New Year with a bang by indulging in Bell + Whete European Kitchen + Lounge’s complimentary hors d’oeuvres including Foie Gras Profiteroles and Chanterelle Risotto Croquettes from 10 p.m. to midnight, in the bar only. Enjoy alongside their specialty New Year’s Eve cocktail list.

    For an old-world spin on the New Year opt for their $35 three-course tasting menu. Start with a glass of Champagne, then choose from Porcini Potage with pickled caps, or Charred Radicchio Salad with speck, orange preserve and sunchokes. For the main there’s Tails and Trotter’s Pork Chop with heirloom carrots and pickled mustard butter, or Seafood Stew with clams, shrimp, market catch, fennel and potatoes, or Fresh Egg Pasta with Butternut Squash, sage and housemade farmers cheese.     Agrodolce



    Celebrate the end of a great year with four delicious, Sicilian courses at Agrodolce. The first course offers Oysters on the Half Shell, Razor Clam and Spot Prawn Crudo, or Burrata Pugliese. For your second, enjoy the Semolina Mafalde, Bucatini con Sarde, or Ricotta Cavatelli. For a main try the Pan Seared Black Cod, Wild Boar Shoulder, or Stuffed Eggplant. Choose between three options for dessert including the Theo Chocolate Budino, Prosecco Poached Pear, and Sheep Milk Cheese with summer preserves, toasted nuts and sea salt crackers.

Work your way to the Sylver Fishing Co Spot Prawns with Penn Cove mussel, bouillabaisse and saffron aioli, the Porcini Brulee with pickled beech mushroom, watercress and pinenuts, or the Grilled Quail, with pearl couscous, currant and pomegranate molasses. For your main choose between the Juniper Ash Crusted Venison, Smoked Heirloom Bean Cassoulet, or Seared Alaskan Black Cod.     Maria Hines has crafted a flavorful menu to celebrate the start of 2015 at Golden Beetle! The organic Mediterranean feast is filled with warm, winter favorites including Kabocha Squash Soup, Beet and Satsuma Salad, or Goat Cheese-Stuffed Medjool Dates for your starter, and the choice of Roasted Chicken and White Bean Samosa, Grilled Halloumi Cheese with watercress, black walnut, and confit fennel, or Grilled Charmoula Shrimp with couscous, persimmon and walnut for your second dish. Third course options include Braised Grass Fed Short Rib with pistachio, tabouleh and mint, St. Jude Albacore Tuna with apple, swiss chard and mustard seed, or Roasted Root Vegetable Tagine with pearl couscous, smoked parsnip puree and carrot.     Cafe Flora, Seattle’s favorite vegetarian restaurant, is preparing a special New Year’s Eve menu in addition to a hearty New Year’s Day brunch buffet! Start the New Year right with satisfying organic, vegetarian and vegan dishes!

    New Year’s Eve Dinner



    In addition to their regular menu, Cafe Flora will offer a selection of special seasonal appetizers and entrees.     Agrodolce Christmas Eve #FishFeast


    Indulge in fresh fish and seafood at Maria Hines’ Sicilian and southern Italian trattoria this Christmas Eve. The James Beard award-winning chef is bringing an age-old Italian tradition to Agrodolce with #FishFeast, their spin on the “feast of the seven fishes”. The celebratory feast originated in Southern Italy to commemorate the Vigilia di Natale, the birth of baby Jesus, and is now a popular Italian-American tradition.

    Maria and Executive Chef Jason Brzozowy are offering three, multi-course seafood menus including 3 seafood courses for $35, five seafood courses for $55 and seven seafood courses for $75 per person. Each menu starts with Agrodolce’s Housemade Focaccia and ends with a tasting of the Buccellati, Chocolate Cannoli, and Cassata with candied fruit for dessert.

    Three Fish Feast Menu: Grilled Octopus with salsa verde, Pan Seared Black Cod, Burrata Pugliese with Calabrian chile, caper, white anchovy. $35 per person.

    Five Fish Feast Menu: Includes all of the first menu’s items along with Razor Clam and Spot Prawn Crudo with orange, wild fennel, and Oola citrus vodka, and Semolina Mafaldine, Dungeness crab with chili and lime. $55 per person.

  • Celebrate Fonté Café’s 5 Year Anniversary! Sept 19-21 09.17.14



    Fonté Café is celebrating five years in the making this weekend, September 19-21, with a special anniversary menu! The celebratory menu introduces a unique four-course dinner featuring Fonté’s specialties, including their handmade pasta and ingredients sourced from the nearby Pike Place Market.

    To create the anniversary menu, Fonté Café invited back James Beard Award-winning Chef Jason Wilson of Seattle’s Crush and Miller’s Guild. Chef Wilson originally mentored and consulted on the opening menu for the Café and now, five years later, Chef Wilson and Fonté’s own Chef Kristofer Kalinczok collaborated to create this weekend’s special menu comprised of beautiful ingredients masterfully combined into a memorable soup, salad, dinner, and dessert!

    The anniversary weekend kicks off this Friday, September 19, with a celebratory evening full of delicious dining. Both Chef Wilson and Chef Kalinczok will be in attendance for the event, starting at 7 p.m. with complimentary small plates, including Cassis Braised Pork Cheek with an apple gremolata, and Grilled Sea Scallop with succotash. After the reception, enjoy the duo’s deliciously prepared four-course meal, listed below.
