    Experience the Joie of Thanksgiving with French-Inspired Fare at RN74

    Executive Chef Thomas Griese brings French-inspired Thanksgiving fare from RN74. The festive, delicious holiday offerings include Sweet Potato Gnocchi with brown butter and sage, Roasted Heritage Turkey with fall cranberry compote, Filet Beef Wellington with truffled mushroom duxelles, and Lobster Seafood Fantasy including geoduck, bay scallops, sweet shrimp, king oyster mushroom, sea beans and lemon beurre fondue. Choose from savory sides of Potato Puree with country butter, Crispy Brussels Sprouts with Pink Lady Apple puree, and Roasted Foie Gras Stuffing. Desserts include classic favorites such as Pumpkin Pie with brown sugar streusel and French-inspired Mousse Au Chocolat with rosemary and orange liqueur.

     

    A new partition at RN74 brings new private dining options this holiday season to the already diverse lounge, chef’s table, bar, and dining room. The partition creates natural enclosures for festive dinners, gathers, happy hours and more this holiday season.

    Organic Offerings at Tilth

    James-Beard Award Winning Chef Maria Hines, and Tilth Executive Chef Joel Panlilio, bring Thanksgiving classics with organic emphasis to the table. Start your Thanksgiving meal with a winter Root Vegetable Salad including carrot, rutabaga, and parsnips in a delicious sherry vinaigrette. Indulge in Pacific Northwest Salmon Crostini on local Sea Wolf Bakery rye with fromage blanc and cranberry relish. For the main event, choose from traditional Roasted Turkey Breast with pommes puree with chestnut-brioche dressing, and cranberry or delight in Grass Run Ribeye with brussels sprouts and chimichurri. A vegetarian entrée includes Field Roast with pommes puree, brussels sprouts and cranberry. Finish the feast with perfect Pecan Pie with chantilly or silky Pumpkin Cashew-Coconut Cheesecake.

    Italian with a Twist at Agrodolce

    Chef Maria Hines’ Southern Italian trattoria, Agrodolce, provides a family-style, three-course feast that mixes favorite seasonal ingredients with traditional Italian dishes. Start off with savory vegetables such as Spicy Green Salad with Collins Family Orchard apples, shredded beets, toasted hazelnuts and squash vinaigrette or Twice Baked Fingerling Potatoes with loki salmon roe, melted leeks and whipped ricotta. Continue with one of three Italian twists on the traditional Thanksgiving main course: Caramelized Brussels Sprout “Casserole” with creamy mushrooms and crispy fried shallots, Sweet Potato Cavatelli with sage brown butter, cranberries and toasted pumpkin seeds or Turkey Breast Involtini a turkey breast that is slowly cooked in a water bath then rolled with provolone picante and speck and served with savory focaccia bread pudding and pomegranate gastrique. Finish with Sicilian Pear and Olive Oil Cakes with golden raisins, toasted almonds and rosemary gelato.

    Harvest Table at The Herbfarm

    Rich with goodness and warmed by the fire in the hearth, The Herbfarm invites guests to feast and be thankful with a nine-course Harvest Thanksgiving menu and expertly chosen wine pairings from its 25,000 bottle cellar. Much of the fall bounty served on the menu is harvested directly from The Herbfarm’s own garden and farm.

     

    The Herbfarm’s Harvest dinner is available November 16th to December 3rd 2017 by reservation only. Price varies from $205-$295 per person, depending on the date.     Vegetarian for the Whole Family at Cafe Flora

    Cafe Flora’s annual Vegetarian Thanksgiving offers a thoughtfully crafted, four-course vegetarian meal for $75 for adults and $25 for children, with plenty of gluten free options. The adult menu includes Spiced Apple Parsnip Soup with crispy Brussels sprouts (vegan, gluten free), Roasted Fennel and Grilled Belgian Endive, arugula, pomegranate seeds, toasted pumpkin seeds, dried cranberry, and cornbread croutons (available vegan & gluten free). For the main course choose from Filo Spirals filled with wilted greens, pecans, gruyere and fontina, brushed with brown butter, served with braised kohlrabi and cabbage, smashed cauliflower, Yukon gold potatoes, green beans, with chestnut leek sauce or Roasted Acorn Squash Wedge with foraged chanterelle mushrooms, oven roasted autumn vegetables, pear tangerine sage chutney, smashed cauliflower, Yukon gold potatoes, and wild mushroom gravy (vegan, gluten free). End the meal with a decadent dessert of Pumpkin Mousse with pecan graham crust, and meringue candied pepitas (vegan, gluten free) or Rustic Apple Galette with horchata cinnamon ice cream and cranberry gelee.

     

    Cafe Flora also offers a full kids menu that can be made completely vegan and gluten free with dishes such as Carrots in a Blanket with house made BBQ dipping sauce, Garden Salad with romaine, pears, dried cranberries, pomegranate seeds and cornbread croutons. Mini Shepherd’s Pie with peas, carrots, squash, and other winter vegetables in a creamy sauce, topped with Yukon gold mashed potatoes. And Pumpkin Pie with whipped cream.

    Thanksgiving Brunch and Dinner at Local 360 Café & Bar

    Local 360 Café & Bar knows brunch is a local favorite and this year they’re offering guests a menu of brunch favorites on Thanksgiving Day from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Brunch offerings include Corned Beef Hash with poached eggs and a biscuit, Farm Fresh Veggie Scramble with home fries and a biscuit, and fried Chicken and Waffles with maple pepper jelly.

     

    From 12 – 9 p.m. guests can enjoy their locally sourced Brined Roast Turkey Plate for $39 with  Roasted Brussels Sprouts with bacon, Turkey Gravy, House Cranberries, Celery Root Puree with toasted hazelnuts, Buttermilk Biscuit, and Pumpkin Pie with spiced whip, or a Chocolate Hazelnut Torte. Still hungry? You can add comforting side dishes, such as Fennel Sausage Stuffing, Sautéed Wild Mushrooms, or Fingerling Potatoes for $7 each.     Feel Grateful at Gather Kitchen + Bar

    While Gather, the new pintxo-style restaurant, is closed for Thanksgiving Day, they will offer a large selection of festive food and drink this holiday season. Cocktail specials include Spiced Persimmon Manhattan flavored with house-made persimmon syrup with sweet maple syrup, cinnamon, star anise, and cardamom, and Chai Spice Hot Buttered Rum with local chai tea. Relish in unique Thanksgiving-inspired dinner items such as Duck Legs Braised in Mulled Wine served with potato gnocchi, brussels sprouts and winter squash and Roasted Pheasant Breast with Grandma’s mashed potatoes, blanketed with pan gravy and served cranberry-apple chutney. Complement the meal with Eggnog Bread Pudding with smooth ice cream and velvety cardamom caramel.

    Beer-Lovers Thanksgiving at Belltown Brewing

    Beer special: On Wednesday, November 22 Belltown Brewing is offering Seasonal Crowlers To-Go for locals to stock up for their Thanksgiving table.  Enjoy four 16oz. crowlers of seasonal beers for $15.

     

    On Thanksgiving Day Belltown Brewing offers a brewhouse twist to the traditional meal. Start with savory Butternut Squash Bisque and continue with Fire Roasted Turkey Breast, Glazed Brussels Sprouts, House-Made Seeded Pretzel Stuffing, Cranberry Chutney, and Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes with Cider-Sage Gravy. Top off the meal with decadent Pumpkin Cheesecake.

     

    Don’t forget the festive holiday beer flight featuring: Belltown Brewing’s Harvest Lager, a malt forward beer brewed with heavy doses of Munich and Rye malts.     Old World Comforts Shine at Bell + Whete
    Bell + Whete, opened in Belltown this summer, has become known for their old world comfort dishes prepared with a modern twist. This Thanksgiving the restaurant will be showcasing classic dishes inspired from the Norman cuisine of the 10th century.

    Bell + Whete’s “Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner” is $28 and comes complete with Cider Brined Free Range Turkey prepared on the rotisserie, Crushed Potatoes, Gravy from the drippings, Green Beans with mustard vinaigrette and shallots, Stewed Cranberries, Bannock (homemade flatbread), and Pumpkin Pie with spiced Chantilly cream. Choose between an assortment of additional sides including Herbed Brioche Stuffing, Roasted Fall Squash, and more.

    They are also offering Whole Roasted Tani Creek Farms Goose, prepared on the rotisserie, with all of the Thanksgiving sides for four to six people.     Thanksgiving may be an American holiday, but who says you can’t celebrate it with Italian flare. James Beard Award-winning Chef Maria Hines opened Agrodolce with a mission to bring authentic Sicilian fare, crafted with the finest organic and sustainable ingredients, to Seattle. Maria has assembled a culinary feast this Thanksgiving, and yes, there is turkey, prepared with classic Sicilian flavors.

    Agrodolce’s three-course menu starts with Housemade Focaccia, a Winter Green Salad, or Crispy Potato Cakes with crème fraiche and chive. For the second and third course choose between the Sweet Potato Cavatelli with cranberry, brown butter, savory herbs; the Seared Brussels Sprout “Casserole,” with wild mushrooms, marsala, crispy shallots; or the Turkey Breast Involtini, with speck, provolone picante, and focaccia stuffing.     Maria Hines has created a four-course, organic menu that infuses Golden Beetle’s distinctive Mediterranean fare with wholesome, American classics. Instead of spending the entire day preparing a feast, enjoy delicious food in a relaxing atmosphere at Golden Beetle with family and friends.

    Start your four-course meal with the Roasted Kabocha Squash Soup with macerated cranberry, almond, and sage; or the Baby Spinach Salad with grilled scallion vinaigrette, kasseri cheese, and pistachio. Next is the Sweet Potato Tart, prepared with caramelized onion, brown sugar, and allspice.
