    Holiday Champagne Fete at RN74 Dec. 1-31
    Holiday-goers are invited to pop the cork at RN74 all month long with a list of unique champagnes offered by the glass and as a flight. On Saturday, Dec. 8, 1:30-3:30 p.m., guests will sample some of the restaurant’s best champagnes from their recently expanded cellar, as well as special bottles brought in for the holidays. Guests will enjoy hors d’oeuvres, a flight of unique top champagnes, and champagne-focused discussion with RN74’s award-winning sommelier Jeff Lindsay-Thorsen and Paul Swanson.

    The holiday festivities kick off Dec. 1 with champagnes available by the glass and as a flight during dinner service for the full month, including New Year’s Eve. The champagnes are hand selected by the restaurant’s sommelier team, focusing on bottles that are not often available by the glass, allowing for tasting rare bubbles.

  • Alaska Herring Week Starts Today! 06.19.17

    We are proud to announce that two of our clients, Ray’s Boathouse and Tilth are both participating in Alaska Herring Week June 19 – 25.

    Ray’s will be serving crispy fried herring filet, potato blini, pickled radish, and tarragon cream for dinner in the Boathouse.

    Dinner starts with a Scallion Pancake, flavorful with ginger and sesame eggplant, peanut sauce, and rice wine vinaigrette; a salad course of Pomelo and Blood Orange Segments with bitter greens, pine nuts, ricotta cheese and a pomegranate reduction; and a third course of Chickpea Socca Fritters, asparagus and haricot vert, roasted purple carrot, spiced tomato sauce, sour cherry and green mango chutney with a citrus and maple dressing. An indulgent choice of desserts rounds out this experience: Pistachio Cake with Raspberry Mousse, with chocolate glaze and macarons, or Huckleberry Cheesecake with candied pine nuts and a Meyer lemon compote.

    First Date or Long-Time Love at Altstadt



    A lively, lovely Valentine’s date happens at Pioneer Square’s favorite spot for German beer and cuisine, Altstadt. Festivities begin Feb. 10 and continue through Feb. 14, starting with a delicious collaboration with Intrigue Chocolates.


    Sample a German beer and chocolate flight ($12) including four chocolates and four beers. Included is Intrigue’s brandy and cherry truffle, created exclusively for Altstadt. Try the Valentine’s cocktail made with cocoa bean brandy, Kirschwasser, and nutmeg ($12). Also, because Valentine’s Day isn’t complete without a chocolate gift, take home an Intrigue chocolate bar ($15) as a great gift idea, available for sale in the restaurant. Chef Megan Coombes has taken Valentine’s Day to heart with a savory Beef Heart Stew with Spätzle ($14), available only on Feb 14.
