We are thrilled to announce two well-known and longtime Seattle restaurants as our new clients. Both feature the finest local ingredients and culinary craftsmanship in each menu item, and we are honored to be welcomed into their businesses.

Volterra is the product of a love story for the ages, which is why we are enchanted and excited to announce it as our new client. Owners Don Curtiss and Michelle Quisenberry were introduced by a mutual friend and quickly their combined culinary style and business prowess graced the Ballard restaurant scene. Named for the Tuscan hilltop where the couple were married in 2004, Volterra features the bold, delightful flavors of Tuscany.

Celebrating 10 years later this year, Volterra opened on Ballard Avenue when there were only a few longtime restaurants as residents. Today, the dining scene is bursting at the seams, but Volterra remains a culinary hotspot. Having recently added weekday lunch and all day happy hour to dinner and weekend brunch service, Volterra continues to grow to fulfill the needs of Ballard neighbors, businesses and visitors.

Chef Curtiss showcases his innovative style through only the best local and imported ingredients. He believes it is imperative to know the source of every ingredient, so he travels to Italy, works closely with local farmers and uses only the freshest local products available. The menu highlights seasonal Tuscan ingredients, housemade pasta and charcuterie, wild boar tenderloin and extensive gluten-free options.

Since its successful opening in April 2005, Chef Don’s culinary skills and Michelle’s business savvy have brought the warmth and charm of Tuscany to the Puget Sound. Volterra has been praised as “the city’s toughest reservation” by Bon Appetit magazine and has received international acclaim and numerous awards including the “Wine Spectator Award of Excellence” each year since its opening, Zagat’s “America’s Top restaurants,” “Best New Restaurant” and “Best Italian Restaurant” Seattle Magazine, “Best Chef Inspired Restaurant” Seattle Met Magazine, and “Best Italian Restaurant” Seattle Citysearch. In addition, Rachael Ray named Volterra one of her “favorite restaurants on the planet.”

Follow Volterra on Facebook and Twitter. Volterra is located at 5411 Ballard Avenue Northwest. Call 206.789.5100 or click here for reservations.

    Volterra opens at 11:30 a.m. Mon-Sat and 9 a.m. on Sundays, closes at 9:30 p.m. Mon-Thurs, 10:30 Fri-Sat and 9 on Sundays. Happy hour runs from noon-6 p.m. Mon-Fri and 3-6 p.m. Sat-Sun. Dessert happy hour runs from 9 p.m. til close Fri-Sat.
