    As the summer months approach, Seattle restaurants are dusting off their patio seats, creating refreshing cocktails, and preparing menus with the best seasonal ingredients that summer has to offer.     Agrodolce

    This summer the menu at Golden Beetle features a long list of house made bitters, tinctures, sodas, and infusions that reflect the attention to detail in the craft cocktail program. Situated among a trellis of greenery fronting a craftsman house, diners are welcomed and treated as if they’re family.     The current menu, which changes monthly, includes Green Garlic Soup, Seared Alaskan Weathervane Scallops, and English Pea Flan, amongst numerous other certified organic and locally sourced options.     Sushi Kappo Tamura
    The most sought after seats at Sushi Kappo Tamura are at the sushi bar, but come this summer the outdoor patio will also be in high demand. With seating for 12, Sushi Kappo Tamura’s patio creates an engaging and vibrant space that allows diners to enjoy the sun in high spirits.

    Sushi Kappo Tamura is known for their fierce commitment to using only the best and most sustainable seasonal ingredients.     Bringing the warmth and charm of Tuscany to Seattle’s historic neighborhood of Ballard,

    Ray’s Boathouse & Café
    With its unique position on the shores of Ballard overlooking the Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains, Ray’s Boathouse & Café offers stunning views, especially during the summer from its large Café patio.

    Happy Hour can now be enjoyed on the Café-patio with the menu offering delectable bites such as Grilled Prawn Satay, Tuna Poke, Pacific Manila Clams and the Crispy Calamari.     Tilth is celebrating its 8th anniversary this Labor Day! To commence the celebration, Tilth is repeating its BBQ pop-up that was so successful during the 7th anniversary (it sold out), giving it a refreshed menu, and serving it up all day (11 a.m.-10 p.m.) in the dining room and on the patio. It’s one of Maria’s favorite forms of cooking so you can be sure to enjoy some of her specialties.
    Featuring 11 items for just $50, Start your meal with the Deviled Eggs, prepared with crème fraiche, caper, and smoked salmon; taste the crisply fresh Watermelon Salad with French melon, mint, and feta; work your way to the spicy sweet Anson Mills Hush Puppies with fresh corn, jalapeno, and chili honey and enjoy Coffee Rubbed Wagyu Beef Brisket with heirloom tomato sauce and pickled Walla Walla onion.

    What would a full BBQ meal be without dessert?   • Agrodolce adds to Fremont Fair weekend 06.20.13



    Perhaps best known for its stripped down cyclists, the Fremont Fair brings that and much more to Fremont this weekend!

    Whether you’re partaking as a vendor, cyclist or perusing the stalls and watching the parade, Agrodolce will add to your weekend fun!

    Friday and Saturday night brings extended happy hour until midnight! That means well-priced lamb burgers, clams in a spicy tomato broth and fennel, chickpea cakes with tomato aioli, orange cannoli and more on the happy hour menu!

    Friday night also brings an arancini eating contest. These delicious, fried Italian balls filled with rice and more (pictured below) are perfectly sized for popping in your mouth, and in this case, doing so as fast as you can! Contest starts at 10:30 p.m. on Friday and the first 8 people will be taken as contestants.

    Maria and her executive chef Jason Brzozowy, a Seattle Met rising star chef, will be creating a few extra dishes just for this weekend.   • “Sin Well” at Pecado Bueno’s Cinco de Mayo Party 05.03.12

    Live Rock Bands, Whole Roast Pig & $3 Margaritas




    Pecado Bueno, the California-style taqueria located in upper Fremont, is celebrating the heritage and pride of its south of the border neighbor with a Cinco de Mayo party on, you got it, May 5!. Signifying the start of summer, Pecado Bueno will also launch its new patio seating for you and 120 of your closest friends!

    This coming Saturday guests will be greeted by three sprawling patios, one with a fire pit surrounded with bar seats, another with a waterfall and outdoor bar, and the third with two rock bands. The patios will be christened on Saturday for what we hope to be a long, warm summer in Seattle.

    For the party, the first 250 people to purchase a Cinco de Mayo ticket will get a free t-shirt specially designed by Seattle-based artist Jeff Tangney. Party-goers can purchase their $10 tickets to receive their free t-shirts at Pecado Bueno beginning TODAY! The t-shirt will grant them immediate access into Pecado Bueno’s party on May 5, forgoing any lines that form. For those not quick enough to snatch up the limited quantity t-shirt, a $10 cover will get them into the festivities.

    The menu will feature $3 margaritas made with 100% agave tequila and a whole roast pig. Also sharing the spotlight, Build Your Own Tacos with roast pork, chicken or butternut squash with rice and beans along with the always available and complimentary fresh salsa bar. Other items include signature ceviche, nachos, housemade chips with guacamole and draught and bottled beer, including Tecate, Negra Modelo and Pacifico, will also be available. All food is $6.95-$9.95; beer is $3.25-$4.75.

    Food and drink specials will run throughout the day beginning at 11 a.m. The bands will hit the patio at 4 p.m. Families are welcome until 8 p.m. when the festivities turn to 21 and over.
