    Join Ray’s Boathouse & Café for a stunning Mother’s Day meal on Sunday, May 13. The upstairs Café will be serving a Mother’s Day buffet featuring a variety of fresh salads, appetizers, sweet and savory breakfast fare and decadent desserts. In this hands-on class, cookbook author, Gill Dey, will teach guests how to make elegant Salmon Pinwheel Sandwiches, light Fresh Cream Scones and more. The course runs from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. and costs $75 for one adult and one child eight years or older.

     

    The Mother’s Day Three-Course Dinner, May 8- Treat Mom to a cooking class at Whisk and learn to make a restaurant-quality three-course dinner together with the help of chef Aaron Tekulve, a recent contestant on Chopped . Students will learn how to create
    Chinook Salmon with baby fennel, asparagus, morels and lemon crème fraiche and more. This course runs from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and costs $110 per person.
