    The holiday season is in full swing and Seattle is alive with the hustle and bustle of locals and visitors alike celebrating over festive food and drinks.     Feast of Seven Fishes at Agrodolce



    Maria Hines’ Italian-inspired restaurant, Agrodolce, celebrates Christmas Eve with a long-standing Sicilian Christmas tradition, the Feast of Seven Fishes. The festive seafood feast is available in two different dining experiences to be enjoyed family-style: the three-course Feast of Five Fishes, $55 per person and the four-course Feast of Seven Fishes, $75 per person.

    The thoughtful menus include Spaghetti al Nero di Sepia with green elderberry capers, golden raisins and white anchovy; Steamed Penn Cove Mussels in a rich tomato saffron broth with preserved lemon and smoked eggplant; and Vanilla Poached Sylver Fishing Spot Prawns with seared endive, caramelized pear and crispy speck. For dessert, guests can indulge in a Tasting of Cookies including buccelatti, candied kumquat cannoli, pizzelle and semolina almond thumbprints.     Cheer on the Seahawks with Elevated German Fare + Beers at Altstadt



    Seahawks fans are invited to ramp up their Christmas spirit and the spirit of the 12s at Altstadt for the big Christmas Eve Seahawks game against the Arizona Cardinals! Just blocks from CenturyLink Field, ticket holders can imbibe pregame and those looking for a festive place to watch the game will feel right at home. Reinvented German fare for the game includes Sausage Plates with classically prepared sauerkraut, mustards, ketchup and pomme frites; Käsespätzle tossed in Beecher’s cheese, caramelized onions and pretzel breadcrumbs; and Brezels – traditional soft pretzels with Jacobsen salt and housemade spicy mustard!

    Celebrate Christmas Eve with a Five-Course Tasting Menu at Miller’s Guild



    Chef Jason Wilson has put together a five-course tasting menu complete with luxurious add ons for a memorable Christmas Eve feast. Dinner begins with Miller’s Guild’s own housemade pickles, crudités and charcuterie. Then, a seasonal Dungeness Crab Wedge salad with bacon, apple and a creamy lemon basil dressing or a heartier Roasted Squash salad with ancient grains, pear and chicory with pomegranate vinaigrette. The main courses enjoy time on the restaurant’s signature wood-fired grill, including Roasted Black Cod with Roasted Black Trumpet Mushrooms or for the carnivore, Smoked Porchetta with chestnut, thyme and roasted garlic.     There are many New Years traditions in Japan, but one of the most delicious traditions is the eating of the Osechi-Ryori.     Holiday Indulgence at Tilth

    Maria Hines’ first restaurant that earned her national acclaim continues to push the culinary envelope with its inventive, certified organic, New American cuisine. This holiday season, Tilth will be offering a beautifully prepared four-course dinner on Christmas Eve featuring a first course of Washington Oysters with Green Apple Ganite or Celery Root Soup with golden raisin, burgundy truffle and peanut butter. Next up, choose from Sylver Fishing Co Spot Prawn Consomme, Porcini Brulee or Rabbit Rillette. Grilled Venison Loin and the much-loved Smoked Heirloom Bean Cassoulet are third course options. The finale features Bourbon Pecan Pie with Woodford Reserve, Chantilly and caramel or Espresso Crème Brulee.

    Italian Inspired Holidays at Agrodolce

    Last year Maria Hines completed her restaurant trifecta with Agrodolce, the third restaurant in her restaurant collection. Celebrating the holidays with Southern Italian and Sicilian fare, Maria has assembled a charming culinary feast with house milled flour used for the pasta, housemade focaccia and certified organic and wild ingredients. Choose your first course from Italian Chestnut Soup with marsala, chanterelle conserva and preserved lemon, or Pugliese Style Burrata with baby beet, saba and arugula. The pasta course features Emmer Rigatoni with spicy pork sausage and Mama Lil’s Pepper, Ricotta Cavatelli with wild mushrooms, gremolata and chard, and Cuttlefish Ink Spaghetti with romanesco, anchovy and pine nut. The third course includes Seafood Risotto with Sylver spot prawn, Penn Cove Mussel and spicy tomato sauce or Snoqualmie Valley Lamb Shoulder with olive tapenade, semolina pudding, and puntarella.
