  • New Happy Hour at Tilth 06.20.14

    Did someone say Duck Burgers? Tilth’s renowned duck burgers are just one of the items on the new happy hour menu, which starts tomorrow (June 21).

    That’s right, Maria Hines’ first award-winning restaurant, Tilth, the one that earned her a James Beard Award and a place on the New York Times‘ Best New Restaurant list, will start offering happy hour everyday from 4:30-6:30 p.m.

    Other classics on the menu include Theo Chocolate Ganache Cake, and Skagit River Ranch Steak Tartare. The menu will change slightly every month with local, seasonal ingredients (just as the dinner menu), so hurry in for the Watermelon Carpaccio before it’s off the menu!

    It’s not just about the food at happy hour, drinks will change monthly as well. Current features include a selection of wine, Lavender Daiquiri, Pimm’s Cup, Gin Cocktail and more!

    The happy hour menu is available on the patio, at the counter or in the sunroom at Tilth.

    The new patio at Shanik, which recently won Seattle magazine’s award for Best Indian Restaurant, brings a restful respite from the daily hustle and bustle of South Lake Union. Instead of eating lunch at your desk or running home after work, enjoy the Seattle sun, a new cocktail menu, and modern Indian bites. Located just outside the front door of Shanik, the patio is appointed with planters, evening lighting and seating for 32 at lunch, happy hour and dinner.     Looking for breakfast on the go?     We mentioned a few weeks ago that Golden Beetle doubled their happy hour menu and added six new craft cocktails, too! Well, it’s time to get even happier – Golden Beetle gives you every excuse to make them THE happy hour destination for the holidays (and beyond!).

    In addition to the expanded menu, Golden Beetle is also expanding their hours! Instead of just one hour of happiness, you can now indulge for two, from 4:30-6:30 p.m. everyday in the entire restaurant.

    Also, every Sunday-Thursday the happy hour menu is offered all night for guests at the bar.   • Lunch, Happy Hour + Weekend Brunch just got better with Agrodolce! 01.08.13



    Fremont seems to be the next hot spot as highly anticipated restaurants are finding a home in the “Center of the Universe.” Award-winning chef Maria Hines planted her latest restaurant, Agrodolce, right in the heart of Fremont less than a month ago and now she is already debuting lunch, brunch and a lounge menu that rivals some of the best happy hours around.

    The lunch menu, offered weekdays 11a.m.-2:30p.m., features some of the best paninis with housemade focaccia bread, including one with spicy salami, provolone and onion jam. The fresh pasta with house milled flour, such as the hand cut tagliarini with pistachio, sweet myrtle and pecorino found at dinner also makes its way to the lunch menu and for those that don’t have time to linger, Agrodolce is also offering a lunch box to-go. That’s right, you can eat gourmet right at your desk!

    The lounge menu offers happy hour every day from 2:30-6 p.m. and late night Thursday-Saturday from 10-11:30p.m. Grab the already popular arancini (pictured above), irresistible orange cannoli, or opt for one of the Sicilian pizzas with mushroom, provolone and pancetta or smoked mozzarella and vegetables! Pair it with drinks specials including $3 Moretti, $4 wine and $5 Campari and soda. Everything is $5 and under!

    Starting this weekend, January 12 and 13, weekend brunch-goers can find a seat at Agrodolce from 10a.m.-2:30p.m. with both savory and sweet items.
