    Need a fun and engaging summer activity for your kids? Look no further! Blue Ribbon Cooking is offering numerous cooking camps this summer for children of all ages.

    Kids get to take a hands-on role in planning and preparing delicious gourmet family meals all while learning invaluable cooking and baking techniques. Each camp ends with a Thursday night Graduation Dinner for parents and kids that’s created and prepared by the students themselves!

    In each camp, students are provided with daily meals and cooking supplies in addition to a personalized chef’s jacket, a professional-quality chef’s knife, an electronic cookbook, and much more.

    Kids can choose from Classic Culinary Camp, Baking & Pastry Camp, or Advanced French Culinary Camp. If parents want to get in the kitchen along with their little ones, they can opt for the Mom & Me Camp; parents, grandparents, and caregivers are all welcome!

    What’s included?
    Students are provided with daily meals, cooking supplies, a personalized chef jacket and a professional-quality chef knife!

    The Classic Culinary, Baking & Pastry, and Advanced French Culinary Camp all include a Thursday night graduation sit-down dinner for parents and kids, created and cooked by the students themselves.

    2015 Camp Dates:

    Classic Culinary Camp
    $400 Camp fee plus $250 Supply fee
    SENIORS: Ages 14-18
    – June 22-25
    JUNIORS: Ages 7-13
    – July 13-16, or July 27-30
    ALL AGES
    – June 29-July 2 or July 20-23
    Classes are Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

    Baking & Pastry Camp
    $400 Camp fee plus $250 Supply fee
    ALL AGES
    – June 22-25, July 6-9, or July 20-23
    Classes are Monday-Thursday from 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.

    Advanced French Culinary Camp
    $500 Camp fee plus $300 Supply fee
    ALL AGES
    – July 27-30

    Classes are Monday & Wednesday from 9:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. and Thursday from 11:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
    *Students must have completed a prior kids camp at Blue Ribbon to attend.

    Mom & Me Camp (open to all parents, grandparents and caregivers)
    $275 Camp fee per each pair of child and adult plus $50 Supply fee per person

    The sun is shining and the sky is clear, summer is finally here and your kids want to have fun and relax! Fill up their summer schedule at Blue Ribbon Cooking & Culinary Center on Lake Union. Blue Ribbon is in its 19th year of hosting fun, educational culinary camps for kids of all ages. Cooking camps help build confidence and creativity as they don their chef’s hat and venture to the kitchen to create meals, bake pastries, learn to chop, slice and make grocery lists.

     

    All kids camps except Mom & Me, will end with a celebratory graduation dinner where kids show off the culinary skills they learned to their friends and family. Each camp will supply your little chef with cooking necessities, including: a personalized chef’s jacket, apron, professional-quality chef’s knife, cookbook of recipes, utensils, and more!

    Classic Culinary Camp
    Get ready to make local and global favorites from scratch with the opportunity to learn hands-on from professional chefs five hours a day and sharpen your culinary skills in the kitchen.

    Ages: 7-13
    Dates: July 7 – 10, July 14 – 17, July 28 – 31, 2014
    Ages: 14-18
    Dates: June 23– 26, 2014
    All Ages: 7-18
    Dates: July 21 – 24, 2014

    Baking & Pastry Camp
    Calling all potential bakers out there! Grab your rolling pin and put on an apron because we are going to be sifting, whisking, kneading, mixing and measuring as we bake savory and sweet goodies from scratch!

    All Ages: 7-18
    Dates: June 23 – 26, 2014 OR July 7 – 10, 2014
    9 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Monday – Thursday

     

    Mom & Me
    This camp is designed to create a fun learning environment for both you and your kids! For young chefs, bring your parent, grandparent, or care giver and learn together how to make your own healthy creation for the entire family! For adult chefs, bring your kid and learn how to work together around the kitchen and meal preparation, giving you more quality time to spend with one another!

    Dates: July 14, 15 & 16, 2014
    3-Day Session
    10 a.m. – 1 p.m., Monday, Tuesday, & Wednesday

     

    Advanced French Culinary Workshop
    For those with exceptional culinary skills already, this camp is for you! You will be challenged and master one of the world’s most refined and elegant culinary styles, the classic French cuisine, while learning the influences of French cuisine is in all forms of Western cooking.

    All Ages: 7-18*
    Dates: July 28 – July 31, 2014
    *Students must have completed a prior kids camp at Blue Ribbon to attend.
