• St. Patrick’s Day Celebrations! 03.10.15

    On March 17th Bell + Whete European Kitchen + Lounge in Belltown and Ray’s Boathouse and Café in Ballard will be serving St. Patrick’s day food and drink specials. From corned beef to Guinness lamb shank, boozy shakes and Irish Car Bombs, there is something for all to enjoy!

    Bell + Whete European Kitchen + Lounge
    Executive Chef Stew Navarre will be roasting corned beef in a “caja china” (metal, coal operated roasting box typically used for pig roastings in Cuba) with applewood for a hint of smokey flavor, on Bell + Whete’s outdoor patio at 2nd and Bell Street, starting at 4 p.m.

    Food Special:
    Corned beef sandwiches will be made-to-order with braised cabbage, Irish cheddar, caraway aioli, on a Grand Central como roll. Walk up and get them to-go or eat in the restaurant. Regular menu also served.

    Beverage Specials:
    Inside their large bar area, guests can enjoy 60+ beers on tap, as well as specials on Guinness, Jameson and Irish Car Bombs.

    St. Patrick’s Day dinner special – Guinness braised lamb shank, potato crusted country pie, gravy, peas $32.

    Café: 11:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
    St. Patrick’s Day lunch and dinner special – Spice braised corned beef, caraway, lager steamed cabbage, poached red potatoes, whole mustard $24.

    • Shamrock Shake – vodka, Creme de Cacao, Creme de Menthe, ice cream, topped with whipped cream $8

    • Four Leaf Clover – Jameson Irish Whiskey, mint, lime juice, ginger ale $9
    • Redbreast 12 – A Pure Pot Still whiskey. Notes of nuts, spice, citrus with hints of marzipan and sherry. $12
    • Bushmills Black Bush – Malt whiskey aged for 11 years in sherry casks. Notes of barley, grape, lemon with hints of biscuits and fruit. $10
