Thanks to Seattle Met, Thrillist, Seattleite and Seattle Weekly, food focused Seattleites are finding out about one of the city’s best happy hours at Lloyd Martin, or as they’ve coined it, Social Hour! This gem of a restaurant has turned the heads of local critics in the dining room and is now offering you a chance to come in and try out their delectable, irresistible Social Hour menu for just $5 a plate at the bar.
You won’t find wings or sliders on Chef Sam Crannell’s menu; instead expect items such as Quail Egg Raviolo with shaved black truffles, Albacore Crudo with castelvetrano olives, Crispy Pork Belly with beans and slaw accented with pea vines, or the not-so-simple Chorizo and Clams served with some of the best bread to ever soak up a beer infused clam broth. Items change daily so you can expect to be dazzled every time you set foot in this Queen Anne treasure.
The food and cocktails battle for the spotlight with Lloyd Martin bartenders mixing up cocktails that are created to your preference. They do offer a short cocktail menu, but as these are merely suggestions, we have had interesting and crowd pleasing cocktails each and every time we leave it to the experts. Every single time! When is the last time you could say that?! So pick your poison then sit back, drink up and enjoy!
At just $8 per cocktail, $5 or less per plate, $6 wines and $3 beers, Lloyd Martin’s Social Hour is quickly becoming a well-known city favorite.
